Amendment to the Article 3 of the official Chess rules

The player has an option to make his move in advance (premove) during the turn of the opponent. This move will be saved on the server-side and will be performed automatically once the opponent makes his move. Premove can contradict to the defined rules of the pieces movement. For example the player can capture own piece. The list of the rules that can be broken during the opponent’s turn move is as follows:

  • Capturing of own piece allowed
  • "Jumping over" the opponent’s pieces allowed
  • Castling with a square under attack allowed
  • Moves leaving the King under check allowed
  • Castling with one light opponent’s piece (Knight or Bishop) between King and Rook allowed
  • Pawn move on to the square occupied by the opponent’s piece allowed
  • Pawn capture of the empty square allowed

Once the opponent performs his move, the server checks premove for the compliance to the laws of chess; if it is compliant the move is performed without changing the overall timing of the player. The turn to play goes back to the opponent again. If premove is not compliant to the rules it is discarded.

Amendment to the Article 5 of the official Chess rules

If one of the partners discards to proceed the game, the player can claim the partner discard, but there can be no more than one discard per day. If the player has discarded to resume the game three times, he will be scored a defeat.
