Alexey Dreev (“Ural” — Russia, 2657) with black has beaten the international master Pavel Ponkratov ("Southern Ural” – Russia, 2499). Igor Kurnosov (“Southern Ural” — Russia, 2593) has conquered Vladimir Malakhov (“Ural” — Russia, 2689) thus somehow softening the injurious defeat of his team in Ural “Derby”. The losses of the nearest pursuers of “Ural” team in the standings – “FINEK-GazPromBank” from St. Petersburg and “TPS-Saransk” from Saransk were quite a surprise. They lost their games to “Tomsk-400” from Tomsk and “Polytechnik” from Nizhny Tagil. The one and only match which has ended in a draw had been played between “64” (Moscow) and “Shatar-Metropol” (Ulan-Ude).
